Harmful Foods: Sausages, Processed Foods, etc.
Have you ever wondered what goes into store-bought dumplings, processed meat and fish products, crab sticks, cooked sausage, margarine, and other Harmful foods?
Are you aware of the harm various additives, seemingly harmless at first glance, can cause? What are the dangers of dyes, preservatives, and other “food” additives? And why can you quickly gain excess fat if you eat mainly these foods?
The women’s website sympaty.net has taken it upon itself to reveal some of the secrets of the production of processed foods and other unhealthy products. I wouldn’t recommend reading on a full stomach 😉
Why are dumplings harmful food?
Let’s start with the fact that dumplings themselves are unhealthy due to the combination of dough and meat. Any nutritionist will tell you that this combination is very difficult for the stomach to digest.
You won’t find any additives as such on the dumpling packaging, so the only question may be the freshness of the meat used for the filling.
In addition, some manufacturers add vegetable protein to their products, often genetically modified. This poses no danger to most people, but if you have celiac disease, it may worsen your condition. However, only a doctor can make such a diagnosis.
The harmful food effects of semi-finished meat and fish products
include ready-made cutlets, cabbage rolls, minced meat, and so on. Again, most manufacturers, in an effort to save money, violate recipes, use low-quality meat, as well as less valuable meat, and add fat and vegetable protein, which are cheaper than the poorest quality meat itself. Furthermore
, they add various dyes and preservatives to semi-finished products, which can be hazardous to health… but more on that later.
Incidentally, the taste and quality of semi-finished products often depend heavily on price.
The harmful food effects of crab sticks:
This product is as closely related to crab as cooked sausage. Frankly, it’s unclear why they are called that, but that’s not the point.
The basis of this, excuse me, delicacy is purified fish protein, plus all sorts of colorings, preservatives, egg and vegetable protein, flavor enhancers, thickeners, stabilizers, and other inedible substances. Needless to say, crab sticks contain no vitamins whatsoever?!
What are the harmful food effects of cooked sausage, frankfurters, and wieners ? What is cooked sausage made of like Harmful Food ? This is one of those cases where it’s better not to know or even think about it: the list of ingredients can sometimes be terrifying.
Let’s not even mention the quality of meat and toilet paper, or even colorings, but let’s think about GMOs (products derived from genetically modified organisms). Not all manufacturers list the presence of such things on their labels. And what’s most interesting is that some of these sausages are quite expensive and popular!
There’s no need to talk about the harm of GMOs. We all know that GMOs cause weakened immunity, allergic reactions, the accumulation of foreign proteins in the body, and have carcinogenic and mutagenic effects, which are especially dangerous for pregnant women.
Furthermore, some unscrupulous producers use ground meat made from ground bones and meat residue instead of meat. Incidentally, sometimes cooked sausages are made from spoiled meat, which is disinfected (with what? It’s also better not to know… The fact is, these substances also enter our bodies), and the flavor is obscured by additives.
Cooked sausages also often contain soy protein—believe it or not, it’s also often genetically modified.
These same ingredients are found in frankfurters, sausages, wieners, and other types of sausage. The only difference is the processing methods.
Why Margarine Is Harmful Food?
This product is no longer used even in military meals, even though they’ve tried many things.
This “delicacy” is made from lard and oleomargarine. The latter is very harmful food to the body, as it’s not a natural substance.
Food Additives Harmful to Health
You can spend a long time slandering food products. But in conclusion, I’ll provide a list of food additives that are extremely harmful food and best avoided.
Sodium Nitrate:
Sodium nitrate is most often added to bacon, ham, sausages, etc. Sodium nitrate is a carcinogen, meaning it can cause cancer.
Butylated Hydroxyanisole (BHA) and Butylated Hydroxytoluene (BHT):
They are added to breakfast cereals, chewing gum, and chips. They are oxidants that can cause reactions that can lead to cancer.
Propyl Gallate:
Propyl gallate is also added to chewing gum, processed meats, and ready-made soups. It can cause cancer.
Monosodium Glutamate:
Monosodium Glutamate is a well-known food additive. It’s used everywhere, enhancing odor and taste (and sometimes even creating them out of thin air). It can cause headaches and nausea, as well as nervous system disorders. But the main problem is that glutamate is addictive, and foods without it seem tasteless.
Aspartame:
Aspartame is a sweetener. It’s most often used in diet foods. It can cause diarrhea, adversely affect the nervous system, and in some cases, can trigger cancer.
Banned E-Additives:
Among the dyes and preservatives, there are those that are prohibited for consumption. Among them are many food additives of group E: 103, 105, 111, 121, 123, 125, 126, 130, 152, 240.
E-103, E-104, E-122, E-141, E-150, E-171, E-173, and some others are considered particularly hazardous.
Incidentally, these days, they’re sometimes simply labeled by their names or grouped together. For example, something like “artificial flavors and aromas” might be listed, but it’s hard to figure out what the manufacturer actually added!
The most common illnesses caused by harmful food additives, colorings, stabilizers, and other chemicals include nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, headaches, allergic reactions, and, in rare cases, cancer.
Isn’t that why we so often suffer from gastritis, dysbacteriosis, nervous disorders, and other ailments, and why children are so often born with allergies?
Despite all the harmfulness of sausage, dumplings, crab sticks, processed foods, margarine, and other products, we continue to eat them and are unlikely to give them up. After all, they’re delicious 🙂
